What every busy band director needs

We handle the monthly maintenance so your percussion gear stays ready, and you get your time back instead of fixing and maintaining it yourself.

How It Works

A dedicated tech, on your campus, every month

Once a month, we come to your school and walk your core percussion section. If it's part of your everyday setup, we put eyes and hands on it.

Every Visit

Monthly Reliability Visit

  • Tune concert snare and toms
  • Clear timpani heads and adjust pedals / tuning gauges
  • Snug up loose hardware on keyboards and stands
  • Replace missing cymbal felts, sleeves, and worn crash cymbal straps
  • Rotate or replace keyboard cord as needed, straighten suspension posts, replace missing insulators
  • Inspect and replace tam-tam cord
  • Snug up wobbly music stands (percussion only)

Rotating Focus

In-Season Deep Dive

  • Fall: Keyboard cord replacement, vibraphone damper & motor checks, marching bass drum head matching, marching snare / tenor tuning
  • Winter: Yearly timpani maintenance, concert snare audition-ready dial in, chime tube rehanging & inspection
  • Spring: Auxiliary drum tune up, hardware lubrication, full concert tuning package, resonator clean outs and cord replacement, inventory check
  • Summer: Marching line prep: snare / tenor / bass adjustments and head changes as approved, hardware checks

Campus Rate

$290

monthly investment

Monthly on-site visits, year-round, 12-month agreement, billed to your school or boosters through a single PO. Pay in full or on a monthly schedule through your district.

Replacement parts and heads

You set your own parts allowance budget when the PO is set up, and we never bill past it without approval. Fold it into your original PO, or we can bill separately as needed throughout the year.

Starting in Year 2, you get 5% off replacement parts and heads, growing to 10% off in Year 3 and beyond.

To protect service quality, Full Season Shield is capped at 15 campuses per metro area. Once those spots are full, new schools go on a wait list.

Get Started

Our Promise

If, after your first semester, you don't feel your percussion stress is meaningfully lower, we'll add an extra on-site visit at no charge to make it right.

I can't recommend Bono Percussion highly enough! In addition to the high-quality timpani head changes, Bono Percussion has also provided tutorial sessions to my students. They've taught them how to change and clear heads, and through their professionalism, empowered them to create their own brand and direction in the music world.

Common questions

Full Season Shield is a 12-month agreement, billed to your school or boosters through a single PO. You can pay in full or on a monthly schedule through your district.

You set your own parts allowance budget when your PO is set up, and we never bill past it without approval. Fold it into your original PO, or we can bill separately as needed throughout the year.

Contest & Concert Priority Support covers exactly that. Email us and you jump to the front of the line for troubleshooting. We'll tell you what we can fix on the next visit, what needs parts, and what the realistic timeline looks like.

We can't promise nothing ever breaks, but if after your first semester you don't feel your percussion stress is meaningfully lower, we'll add an extra on-site visit at no charge to make it right.

Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin) and North Carolina (Triad, Triangle, and Charlotte).

To protect service quality, we cap Full Season Shield at 15 campuses per metro area. Once those spots are full, new schools go on a wait list.

Once a year you get a Percussion Health Score, a color-coded report on your core instruments, plus a 1-3 year budget plan with estimated costs. We also provide an Admin & Approval Pack: a one-page summary and a sample approval email you can copy and paste, so getting this into your budget doesn't require a sales pitch.

Not much. Once you're signed up and your visit dates are set, you open the door. We handle the rest and leave everything ready to play.
