Basic Skills

  • Timpani head changes and tuning, pedal and tuning gauge adjustments, installing tuning gauges
  • Drums: Installing and tuning heads, adjusting snares, replace missing parts
  • Chime: String chime tubes, polish tubes, resolve pedal issues
  • Keyboards: Restring/clean bars & replace frame parts
  • Hand Drums: Re-head and tune drums
  • Auxiliary Instruments: Re-head tambourines, restring castanets, etc.

Advanced Skills

  • Timpani: Replace spring casings/spider arms, adjusting horizontal pull rods, reshaping bowls/bearing edges
  • Drums: Bearing edge cutting, installing new wraps, staining drums, drum restoration
  • Chimes: Re-cutting, tuning, recapping tubes
  • Keyboards: Frame modifications, bar tuning, painting/staining bars
  • Hand Drum: Bearing edge leveling/cutting & drum restorations
